Details for Notts DC summer training sessions

Details for the Notts Development Centre dates are as follows:

29/07/18 10.00-16.00 DC training (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

19/08/18 10.00-16.00 DC training (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

The session times will be as follows:

U13/U14 boys & girls meet 9.30

10.00-11.30 pitch

11.30-13.00 disucssion, lunch & rest

13.00-14.30 pitch

14.30 finish

U15/U16/U17 boys & girls meet 11.00

11.30-13.00 pitch

13.00-14.30 discussion, lunch & rest

14.30-16.00 pitch

16.00 finish

Payment

The cost will be £15.00 per day payable in advance (single payment of £30 for both days but coded as below is fine).

Booking your place

In order to ensure that we have appropriate coaching ratios and pitch space please contact me to book your place so that we have knowledge of the numbers attending each of the sessions. Please email me with your details (name, gender, birth year) to ensure we allocate you to the correct session.

Register details on England Hockey database

You will need to register your son/daughter on the New England Hockey database before the session so we have emergency contact and medical details:

On the day

Please bring the following with you:

- Stick, hockey trainers, plus shinpads, mouthguard, protective glove (if required), etc.

- GK kit as necessary – it will not be provided

- Appropriate playing kit - no club or school kit please.

- Waterproof jacket

- Spare dry clothes to travel home

- Suncream (hopefully)

- Lunch

- Drinks (bottles can be re-filled with water and drinks can bought from the bar)

- Notepad and pen

Notts DC summer training and AC trial dates

The September Academy Centre dates are defined by the England Hockey Centralised Calendar (which can be found as a download at the bottom of the EH home page). Therefore the trials for the Academy take place in September with our Development activities taking place over the summer.

The Notts Development Centre summer training sessions are therefore as follows:

29/07/18 10.00-16.00 DC training (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

19/08/18 10.00-16.00 DC training (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

Do not worry if you can't make these dates. However if you want to be considered for selection for the Academy squad then you must attend the two September dates which are as follows:

02/09/18 12.00-18.00 AC trials (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

16/09/18 12.00-18.00 AC trials (Nottingham Hockey Centre aka Highfields)

Training sessions 8 April 2018

Some extra training sessions have been arranged for the U14 and U15 squads on 8 April. U13 was already scheduled but with times to be confirmed. All sessions will be at Nottingham Hockey Centre (Highfields).

U13 G & B - 10.00 - 11.30 on sand

U14 G & B - 18.30 - 20.00 on water

U15 G & B - 19.30 - 21.00 on sand

(U13 = 2005/2006 bday, U14 = 2004, U15 = 2003)

Really sorry, but no doubt you will already have worked this out, the pitches are snow covered and all hockey at Nottingham Hockey Centre (Highfields) is off today. We'll be in touch about future activities.

County fixtures cancelled 4 March 2018

All Notts county fixtures for u13, u14 and u15 are cancelled on Sunday 4th March 2018 due to the adverse weather conditions.

Training and Matches 26 November 2017

Training on 26th November 2017 is at Nottingham Hockey Centre. Times for the different age groups are as follows:

12.00-1.30 u13 & u14 boys

1.30-3.00 u13 & u14 girls

3.00-4.30 u15 boys & girls

U16/17 girls and boys have fixtures, details as yet unknown.

For players wishing to purchase training kit/hoodies – please use the following link:

Once you click on this tab it then offers you the shop details - please select Nottingham Academy Centre

You will then be asked for a password which has been emailed to all Academy Centre players

You can then enter your shop.

The price for the hoodie is £16 + £5 carriage – making the hoodie £21

Academy Centre Payment Information

The cost of AC for the season is as follows:

U15, U16 and U17 (i.e. birth years 2003, 2002 and 2001) will be £60 which can be payable in two instalments of £30 if you wish, now and in Jan. Development player pay a single instalment.
U13 and U14 (i.e. birth years 2006, 2005 and 2004) will be £70 which can be payable in two instalments of £35 if you wish, now and in Jan. Development players pay a single instalment.

Just to confirm the training times on Sunday 8th Oct at Nottingham Hockey Centre (aka Highfields) are as follows:

3.00-4.30pm U15G and U16/17G
4.30-6.00pm U15B and U16/17B

The next session after this will be 22nd Oct with matches for U16/17 age group and training for all others.
