Goalkeepers (GKs):

3rd September GK trials will be integrated with their age groups for game play as above

17th September GK-specific trials for skills. Location: Cage 5.00 - 6.30 This session takes priority over other sessions on 17th.

 

KIT

Please bring the following with you:

• Stick, hockey trainers, plus shinpads, mouthguard, protective glove (if required), etc.
• GK kit as necessary – it will not be provided
• Appropriate playing kit – NO CLUB OR SCHOOL KIT PLEASE.
• Waterproof jacket
•  Spare dry clothes to travel home
• Suncream (hopefully)
• Drinks (bottles can be re-filled with water at the taps on the pitch and drinks can bought from the bar if required)

 

PAYMENT

The cost of attending the Nottinghamshire AC trials is £15 payable prior to first session, preferably by BACS transfer (no cash please),

(Please record the player's details in the same way on the back of the cheque for cheque payments - BACS transfer preferred to ensure traceability).

COACHES

We are 3 coaches short across the age groups meaning some coaches are having to double up and this may cause problems going forward where there are training/competition clashes although for the players’ sakes we will do our best to minimise the impact.  Only 5 clubs are represented amongst the coaches, so if you are or know a level 2 coach that would be willing to join the team then please get in touch.

 

UMPIRES

We will need umpires for competitions – again any parents that are competent, please volunteer so that your children get an opportunity to play decent hockey.
